UEPLAC V MAIN WORKING TRACK WILL BE THREEFOLD:

Component 1: Support to prioritising

UEPLAC will support Ukraine in prioritising of the legislative approximation work, defining clearly the sectors and the consequent legal and policy acts to be approached first of all in the overall process of European integration and legislative approximation.

Component 2: Support to assessment, preparation and delivery of approximated legislation

The Project will also support the assessment of possibilities of the Ukrainian legislation approximation, identification of approximation needs and support planning of legislative, administrative and other public administration related activities necessary to ensure compliance of the Ukrainian legislation with the EU law.

Component 3: Advice/capacity building to support implementation

UEPLAC will focus as well on advising how to strengthen the conditions to enable a stronger implementation and practical adoption of the approximated legislation by all relevant actors in Ukraine. The Project’s work will comprise a wide range of activities aiming at training of the Ukrainian civil servants, preparation of the relevant methodology, and at dissemination of the UEPLAC results.
