UEPLAC CONTINUES ITS CO-OPERATION WITH THE WORLD BANK

In light of the improved donor co-ordination approach on the EU integration that was initiated by the ECD, but also to co-ordinate the UEPLAC activities in the area of IM-relevant matters, on 27 August 2008, Mrs Jolanta TACZYNSKA and Mr Gennadiy KOSYAK held a working meeting with Mr Martin RAISER, Director of the World Bank’s missions to Moldova, Ukraine and Belarus in order to discuss the legal approximation issues and possibilities of co-operation and undertaking joint-actions. Upon exchanging the most recent information, UEPLAC leadership proposed to carefully study on-going and planned assistance to avoid eventual duplication of effort.
