MEMBERSHIP IN THE CIVIL SOUCIETY EXPERT COUNCIL UNDER THE UKRAINIAN PART OF THE UKRAINE-EU CO-OPERATION COMMITTEE

Upon an invitation of Mr Hregoriy NEMYRIA, the Vice Prime Minister, Dr Jolanta TACZYNSKA, UEPLAC Team Leader was invited to become a member of the Civil Society Expert Council (Gromatska Rada) under the Ukrainian part of the Ukraine-EU Co-operation Committee (Decision No 21 of 27 June 2008).

Mrs Jolanta TACZYNSKA participated in t he first meeting of the Civil Society Expert Council that was held on 29 August 2008, the PC members appointed the Chairman of the Civil Souciety Expert Council, set up the PC Secretariat, defined the members of the working groups under seven sub-committees and discussed the proposals to the concept and key elements of the new policy tool (as a substitution to the EU-Ukraine Action Plan) according to the request of Mr Nemyria, Head of the Ukrainian part of the Committee as of 16 July 2008.
