UEPLAC leadership presented the UEPLAC MIS to the Co-ordination Bureau for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of the Secretariat of Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine

UEPLAC leadership took part in the meeting regarding certain aspects of implementation of the project “Ukrainian-European Policy and Legal Advice Centre” .

During the meeting, the UEPLAC representatives presented a beta version of the Management Information System on Legal Approximation (MIS) (which was designed and set up according to its ToR), provided characteristics as to the main criteria of system’s structure and the general principles of its operation.

In course of the meeting, all the participants positively evaluated the quality of the product delivered by UEPLAC, and the following issues were raised: the possibilities of merging the MIS with the already existing information system of the Ministry of Justice, transferring the MIS to the Ukrainian Project partners due to the Project completion in July 2009 as well as possibilities of its further maintenance (updating and administration).

The next meeting regarding certain aspects of implementation of UEPLAC is to be held in February 2009
