UEPLAC organised the participation of the Ukrainian officials in the European Conference on Probation that was held in Milan, Italy

The delegation of the Ukrainian officials: from the Supreme Court of Ukraine, Ministry of Interior of Ukraine, and VRU Secretariat, accompanied by Mr Edoardo SPACCA, the UEPLAC Legal Adviser on JFS, participated at the European Conference on Probation that was held in Milan, Italy. During the conference, Mr Spacca presented an overview on Alternatives to Imprisonment in Europe. The event was very successful and the Italian Authorities invited the Ukrainian colleagues to future cooperation within the scope of the European activities of the ASL Milano (Local Health Authority). An additional session for the representatives of the ASL Milan and the Ukrainian delegation was also organised with the aim to prepare the grounds for developing the future co-operation among the relevant Ukrainian and Italian authorities.
