UEPLAC ensured participation of Ukrainian civil servants in the Annual Conference on European Food Law

UEPLAC ensured participation of Ukrainian civil servants in the Annual Conference on European Food Law, organised by the Academy of European Law on 19-20 November in Brussels, Belgium.

A group of civil servants, representing the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, benefited a lot from their participation in the above event, previously arranged by UEPLAC V.

In particular, the conference gave participants an overview of the legislative measures governing food chemical safety in the European Union, and highlighted the link between the foodstuffs protection and other pieces of legislation in the fields of agricultural law, environmental law and REACH.
