UEPLAC experts to support further the policy analysis groups

Being invited to assist in the work of policy analysis groups since 2008, Dr. Jolanta Taczynska, UEPLAC Team Leader, while delivering her presentation, confirmed her team readiness to provide further advisory support within the future PAGs activities.

At the scientific-practical conference, held on 1 December 2009, members of the policy analysis groups took stock of their work in 2009. Calling together representatives of the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, line ministers and other central government authorities, the above groups allow hammering out comprehensive decisions at the state level on the basis of common approach to sectoral policies.

Their core mission is to provide strategies and policy papers on the sectoral reforms needed in Ukraine. In this regard, UEPLAC experts shall further support policy analysis groups with a view of enhancing the European integration policy and legal approximation in Ukraine.
