UEPLAC took part in the first meeting of the Gromadska Expertna Rada

UEPLAC took part in the first meeting of the Gromadska Expertna Rada (GER) under the Ukrainian part of the EU-Ukraine Co-operation Committee, held on 2 February 2010.

Having agreed upon the criteria for the GER membership and the work plan for 2010, the participants of the meeting discussed the most topical issues of the EU-Ukraine relations. In particular, the proposals as to the EU-Ukraine Association programme implementation, concerning the celebration of the Europe Day in Ukraine and the concept of establishing the European Chornomorsky College in Sevastopol have been considered. The members of the GER carry out their expert work within the framework of eight specially created thematic groups, comprising the UEPLAC experts as well.
