UEPLAC ensured civil servants` participation in three specialised international events

Contributing to the civil servants` capacity building, UEPLAC continues to ensure their participation in the specialised vocational activities abroad.

In late June - early July 2010, representatives of the CMU Secretariat, of the VRU EI Committee Secretariat, the MoJ and the MDCSU staff, took part in three targeted trainings:

• a seminar “Managing Change in Public Administration”, held in Maastricht, Netherlands;
• the Summer School on EU Economic Integration and Regional Development, organised in Barcelona, Spain; and
• the Annual Regulatory Affairs International Symposium 2010, held in London, Great Britain.

Intended for relevant specialists, workshops and plenary sessions within these events gave all Ukrainian participants the opportunity to exchange experiences gained as well as to study best European practices. In practical terms, this should help the EI specialists to apply relevant methods and know-how to their daily challenges within the regulatory areas.
